2004 Calendar of Events
Former Owner to Visit Museum
Cape May Court House -- Dr. Ric and Mrs. Chris Laquer the former owners of the John Holmes House, now headquarters of the Cape May County Historical Museum, will be visiting the Museum on Tuesday, August 10th and 17th from 10:00 - 3:00. There will be a light reception both days at 10:30.
Dr. Laquer was a prominent doctor in Cape May County who was actively involved in the community. The Laquers will share their memories of living in the historic John Holmes House. Friends of the Laquers or anyone interested in local history are encouraged to visit.
Admission to the Museum is $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors, $1.00 for children 6-12 and free for children under 6. Museum members receive free admission. General Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 - 3:00.
The Museum is located at 504 Route 9 in Cape May Court House. Call (609) 465-3535 for information.
