7th Annual Cape May County Historical Museum Clambake!

An old fashioned Cape May County feast: Clams and Pork BBQ, Corn on the Cobb, Coleslaw, Tomatoes and Corn Bread !!

August 19th, 2006

3:30PM to 6:30PM at the 4-H Fairgrounds.

The Clambake is not only a feast, it is also a celebration of Cape May County’s deep-seated maritime history with educational exhibits, demonstrations and musical performances.

Funds raised go towards the Museum and its educational projects and programs.

The clambake's exhibits, demonstrations and live music are free and open to the public.

Entertainment

  • Snake Brothers Band

Dinners:

  • $14.00 adult dinner - 1 dozen clams or BBQ pulled pork, corn on the cob, coleslaw, sliced tomatoes, corn bread, beverage & dessert, plus door prize ticket.
  • $5.00 a dozen extra clams
  • $7.00 child dinner - Hot-dog, chips, dessert, beverage, plus door prize ticket.

BBQ Caterer: Pigs on Wheels.
Hot-dogs, soda and ice cream also available.

Exhibitors and Demonstrations

  • The Clambake is not only a wonderful summertime event; it is a celebration of Cape May County’s deep-seated maritime history with educational exhibits, activities for kids, demonstrations, a car show and a musical performance by the band the Snake Brothers.

Celebrity Servers

  • County Department Heads, officials and local politicians will help serve the dinner. The Clambake benefits the Cape May County Museum.
