Jump Into History Children’s Program * Saturday, February 6^th, 11 am. “Zoo to You”-Barbara Agens from the CMC Zoo will bring her little friends to the Museum for a visit. Children will get a chance to pet the animals and also get a history lesson. Free for members, $5 for others. Call to register 609-465-3535.
Black History Month Exhibit Friday, February 12^th, 7 pm Opening reception. exhibit to run until Saturday, March 6^th,10 am - 3 pm Cape May County Slavery and Its Legacy-Exhibit will cover children of freed slaves who fought for freedom for enslaved blacks. The exhibit will be on display in the Board Meeting Room located next to the office.
Jump Into History Children’s Program * Saturday, March 13^th, 11 am. Did Betsy Ross really make the first American flag? You’ll find out today. Learn about the history of the American flag with Jim Stephens, Education Director at Historic Cold Spring Village. Free for members, $5 for others. Call to register 609-465-3535.
"A Stitch in Time" Saturday, March 20^th, 2 pm. “A Stitch In Time” Exhibit of our samplers and a Fashion Show of period clothing dating back to the 1800's from our very own collection and an exhibit of our Samplers that have been restored. Hors d'oeuvres with light refreshments will be served. Admission is $10.00
Jump Into History Children’s Program * Saturday, April 10^th, 11 am. It’s the story of Takashi, a cabin boy aboard the Sindia when it ran aground at the beach in Ocean City in 1901. Learn about life aboard a sailing ship in the 1900’s. Free for members, $5 for others. Call to register 609-465-3535.
